What better occasion to promote extra virgin olive oil than during an engaging meeting in those places where quality food and drinks are at home?
An event during which you can learn without feeling at school, taste excellent olive oil and put into practice what you've just learned in the most pleasurable way.
Our tasting seminars are dedicated to adults and young people who are interested in quality food and drink and in particular to those who would like to get to know extravirgin olive oil.
No previous knowledge is required. However, in order to be able to taste olive oil in perfect conditions, it is necessary to avoid smoking and drinking coffee before the seminar, and wearing perfumes which would distract from the perception of the oil's own perfumes not only the wearer, but also those sitting next to him.
The event takes place during 2-3 hours and is structured in two moments:
Both moments will be conducted by Massimo Epifani.
Sensorial characteristics of extra virgin olive oil;
Sensorial analysis;
Nutritional values of extra virgin olive oil;
Good points and defects of oil.
For better "learning" conditions, it is suggest that the number of participants do not exceed 20 people.
At the end of the event, each participant will receive Massimo Epifani's book (in Italian) entitled La Via dell’Olio.
